So I'm guessing that only fat ppl are allowed to her party? If I were you I would have probably taken offense to what she said not for B but for me. Oh and I'm sure if you continue to get slimmer A will discontinue inviting you.0

Ahahaha that was funny. There are plenty of other girls who are tiny that are going, but they've all been friends since like, 2nd grade or something. I think A feels she can do this because B is a "new friend" and... I don't know, it's all just stupid. I thought everyone got over this **** after middle school or high school. Reekris.
But that was awesome. I wonder how much I'll have to lose to be delisted. ha0 -
Honesty is key tell friend A
Your fat makes you look fat not persons B lack of
lmao I might have to. This reminds me of the episode of Family Guy where Peter "found out" he was fat.0 -
Being a large girl that is 99% of the time THE largest girl, bday girl needs to realize that she can't control EVERYONE around her. You did the right thing... sucks bday girl has a BAD attitude!
Pfft. You HAWT.0 -
Unless A is some sort of fitness trainer and B just doesn't want to feel guilty or something while she pounds birthday cake ...
Wait did I say that right ? A or B I am confused.
Regardless...
No offense but I just heard... blah blah blah blah out loud when I read your post.
Invite A and an entire class of yoga practitioners.0 -
I think it seems a bit odd too...if I didn't want to hang out with people smaller or in better shape than me I would be out a lot of friends....lol. And a trainer, and brothers...sisters....actully most of the people ivenjoy spending tune with are smaller than me. They never make me feel bad for being bigger, as a matter of fact I would bet that doesn't even cross their mind. I don't even think about it at all. Pretty strange how people think...0

A book I read I liked a lot had a character who said, "We may not always understand people's behavior, but there's usually a good reason for it". Personally, I wholeheartedly accept doubt and empathy if there is any, but when there isn't.....you can't ignore it. A fact about disconcerting behavior is that it is often times repetitive. So, at some point something on this scale could happen again. So, friend A indirectly forced you into making the decision that puts you in the best position for this to not happen again. Friend B sounds much cooler.0

What, are all of her guests ugly and bigger than her?!? That is so pathetic. I believe that A is genuinely upset about it, and has security problems and don't doubt for a second her true emotions, but really. Life is too short and there are much more important things to worry about and stress over. If A is so shallow as to feel that way about B and B hasn't given her any reason whatsoever to feel so insecure around her, I think you've done the right by telling her the truth.0
