Workouts that make you smile and lose weight

:happy: I have enjoyed using this program since March. I'm 46 years old and have over a 100 pounds in weight to lose. I do a workout on a exercise ball with 5 pound arm weights. I do this every other day. My fun workout is my Just Dance 3 on my WII. Yes, I look funny but as a cardio workout I love it. I try to do this at least 5 times a week. I take the sweat points I earn and divide them by 8 for my calorie burn. I came up with this by using a step aerobics program I have (which I can tell you the JD3 makes me sweat more) and also online information about aerobic dance. I averaged them together, divided them out and came up with a number that I feel is pretty comparable for my JD3. I have a bad back and I've had knee surgery so when I can't do the leg part I just keep stepping and doing the moves I can. Hope this helps others to have fun and get motivated. I've lost 26 pounds since March 1.:bigsmile:

    Push ups at home always make me smile, for the reason that my almost 3 year old daughter comes and sits on my back and shouts giddy up, makes the workout harder, and much more fun :D

    I use JD3 for my cardio workouts as well :) It's a workout I can actually enjoy. I also sometimes get mixed up on the leg parts or I can't jump around as fast as they can, so I just step in place or do the best I can, but I just try to dance as energetically as I can to burn the most calories. So far I've lost 7lb in 10 days so I think it's working :)
