It took me 90 minutes and I came in last but I do not care. Someone has to come in last. I am so proud of myself. The very next day, I ran a 5 kms race in Toronto with a time of 40 minutes. I am a runner!!!! WOW!!!!

How exciting!! Congratulations! The important thing is you finished. That's terrific! I'm so excited for you! You inspire me, too because on November 28, I plan to run my very first 5k and I'll be 56. Great job! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0

Wow - THAT'S FANTASTIC!!! I'm really, truly impressed. How long did you train for the race? I am scheduled to do my very first 5K run, I call it a run because I don't think I'm ready for a race, on October 31. When people ask me what I'm going to be for Halloween I tell them I'm pretending to be a runner!!I'm 54, so I'm no spring chicken. The only problem I have is that I sprained my ankle last week and haven't been able to do much of anything. If I am able to do the run, all I'm looking to do is finish at this point. Keep up the good work - you truly are a runner, and a fantastic one at that!!!0
