How many grams of sugar is OK?

I'm 2200 average TDEE (bodybugg) how many grams of sugar should I have? Mfp says like 160ish? Dang! That's a lot of sugar!

I am only allowed 35g. I go over that every day. Is sugar in fruit ok not to count?0

Im also going over my sugars. But all the sugars Im getting is out of whole foods . Like fruit, vegies, organic breads, non fat greek yogurt, The only thing I take in with actual sugar would be my creamer Only!! I am always over. Help. Is this ok?0

I've been taught no more then 25% of your total calorie intake from processed sugars (which in your case would be 137 grams of processed sugars). Unfortunately, MFP doesn't differentiate between processed sugars and natural sugars from fruits, veggies, etc. so I don't track it on here because the category is inaccurate.

I followed " the belly fat cure" for a week or two , that only allowed15 grams of sugar a day total. I did lose weight, obviously... but missed fruit too much. It also relied a lot on stevia, which I dont care for. Anyhow, it did teach me to watch out for hidden sugars and switch to using almond milk for my smoothies and cereal, a lot less sugar!0

You absolutely should count fructose if you are counting carbs, it metabolises down to the same thing as sucrose (table sugar).
I work on 30g or carbohydrate a day (mostly from leafy veggies) and treat fruit like a dessert0
