anyone on here have a Mac and a Garmin Forerunner, specifically the 210 model? IT states compatible with both Windows and Mac, but I can't download the USB detection software because it is for Windows. In need of some troublshooting if possible, I would like to use it for a race tomorrow and upload to Garmin COnnect. Everything works except for detecting my device from the USB. Thanks!!

  • I'm on a Mac, too. I don't remember if Garmin Connect ever worked for me or not, but I now use Map My Fitness to upload all my Garmin data. I have the Forerunner 110 (wish I had a better unit) for running and the Edge 800 for cycling.

There is an ANT software agent that you get from here:

    http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=4417

Did you install that one yet?

that should also ship your data to the onlione garmin connect automatically.

You will not 'see' the USB without the ANT agent.

I am not sure if you are using ANT or not.
