Hi everyone,

I keep falling off the diet wagon and I'm a kind of all or nothing kinda girl so I guess it's easier for me to eliminate same things but I still want to live a normal life.

So add me if you want to get/stay healthy but do indulge in a social drink, slice of cake in front of tv after work or don't always complete your training schedule.

Does anyone have any suggustions for starting off on the right track? I've so far stopped drinking coffee (I was drinking up to 8 cups of milky, sugary coffee a day at work) and I've stopped drinking fizzy drinks (although I was partial to a bacardi and coke), so now I'm on 2-3 cups of lemon tea at work, no sugar or milk...and swapped for a small glass of red wine - for the health benefits of course.

Any other swaps that work?

I know how you feel. once a week allow your self a cheat day and have that slice of cake, a small one of course. I would definitely drink more water. You can do it, just keep your head up and looking towards the future!!

Try subbing in healthier desserts, like a bowl of your favourite fruit with a low fat fruit yogurt and a handful of honey nut crunchy oat cereal, all in reasonable amounts is a nice quick fix for dessert and is pretty healthy, def tastes good i wouldnt consider it diet food! There`s lots of things you can sub in. whole wheat for white breads, pastas, rice. Great sub for coffee at work (tea). Just try to change these habits and things will get better! Good luck :)
