Another newbie with a goal!

Hey everyone. I'm Emma (as if you couldn't tell by the user name!). One of my good friends referred me to this website to use the food and exercise journals. My ultimate goal is to lose a whopping 90lbs! This is only day four and so far, so good. I'm doing the Slim In 6 program and hoping to see some results in a few weeks.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Glad to be here! :happy:

Hi Emma! Welcome! MFP is a great site with a great community of built-in support for you.
Hmm... quick tips would be to make sure you log EVERYTHING that you eat/drink and all your exercise as well. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water. When you exercise, eat most of your extra calories from exercise, since your body will need that for fuel. I've got a little more to lose than you - following those 'tips' I've lost a little over 10 lbs in 3 weeks so far.0 -

Thanks everyone! I try to stay right at 1,500 calories or less but today I went a little over (1,634) so I'm feeling a bit disappointed in myself. I don't usually eat the extra exercise calories though, so maybe I'm okay!0
