What the heck?

So this week i upped my cardio and 4 out of 7 days i burned 1100 calories in a day. Another day just 300 and 2 days i rested. Im under my calorie goal every night and was at 17lbs lost last sunday. I weighed myself today and i gained a lb!! WHAT THE HECK!!

    what does your diet look like? You might want to open your diary so I and other posters can help better.

    How far under your goal are you everyday? You may not be eating enough since you are burning so much!
    Figure out your net calories. You may be overtraining.

    You also may have to watch your sodium intake, again, I can't see your log so I'm just guessing here.

    When you upped your cardio levels did you increase your caloric intake?

    its water weight from changeing things up its common drink some more water and re-weigh in a few days you`ll be fine. Also do make sure you eat most to all those cals back that you burned

    1) You are probably not eating enough to cover the extra exercise.
    2) Upping exercise can cause temporary water retention, thus weight gain and can add muscle which might push your weight up temporarily until your body adjusts.
    3)Weight varies day to day anyway, you could have jumped on the scale the same time yesterday and been a Ib lighter. I don't think you should be panicking over a Ib of weight, seriously.

    Yes, you should eat back at least some of your exercise calories. I have heard of some people who gain weight when they first change their exercise, hang in there, eat more and you should soon notice a loss. Also, are you eating protein after your big workouts? How much water do you drink? Do you watch your sodium?
