broke up. lost my motivation

Broke up w/ my boyfriend last Thursday, and I know this will be the last time. He's the one who asked me to lose weight, start exercise and eat healthy.
Now, he's no longer here, and maybe he wont see when I start losing weight, I dont hv reason why I should do this.
But I've lost 12 kg so far. part of me say I shouldnt stop. but i really dont have motivation now.

Ultimately everything we do needs to be motivated by our own desire and determination to do it. Other can inspire, encourage, and support us, but we can not do it for them and they can not do it for us. Look inside yourself and see if losing weight is something you want for yourself. Then, go out and find people who love you for who you have chosen to be and not what they can make you become.2

I'm so sorry to hear this - breakups are awful. Have you made friends here on this site who will motivate you? Any girlfriends you can go to the gym with for motivation? While I think it's good that your boyfriend encouraged you to be active and healthy, ultimately you need to want it for yourself. Have you experienced any positive changes that made you like working out? Like being able to buy cute new clothes, or feeling more energetic or strong. I get it, my boyfriend loves exercise and wants me to be healthy and he was a part of why I started exercising. But now that I've found exercises that I actually enjoy I do it for me.
Again, I'm so sorry to hear about your breakup. Take care of yourself! It's ok to feel sad and have a couple days of indulgence right now, but try to get back on track for yourself and your own health.0
