Counting on a budget!

I've counted calories before, and I'll be the first one to tell you that it's amazing! It worked, and fast. I really enjoy it because I'm focusing on a goal, and it keeps me involved, and it's definitely an eye opener to see how much junk I am consuming. I'm 28, and grew up being thin. I started packing on a few LB's, but didn't think anything of it. I started noticing that I eat when I'm watching TV, or when I'm bored. I went from 130-168. I'm 5'7, I counted before, and I was amazed how it really worked. This is the true way to lose weight. You just have to be focused, and honest with yourself. It kicked me into reality, and I'm here on this site to do it again!

I'm living alone, and I LOVE cooking. I'm on a budget though. Was curious to see what suggestions some of you guys have!

    Hello there!

My name is Melissa...just turned 30 May 26 and I recently found out I have to go to a very dressy work function in Baltimore and another in SINGAPORE!!

So of course I am PANICKING!

I always sayyyyy I'm going to go on a diet but this time I am really sticking to it.

I'm hoping that by being able to chart my calories and exercise I will have a better chance to actually achieve this.

I am looking to lose 50lb but as much as 100lb

I want to stay on a budget and NOT spend my whole salary on food that tastes terrible but has low fat/calories/carbs blah blah

Good Luck to everyone! It's rough but it's gonna be worth it :)
