Back in feb of 2012 i weighed in at 346lbs and now to day june 3 i am at 293lbs and feeling like i am at a wall.
Even though back in mid may i began Les Mill Pump and have loss an inch on each arm and i believe three around my chest. As well as this week i began going to the gym and getting on the tredmill for and hour on a high incline at 3.5 mph i wont stop until i have burned 1000 calories, this plus the fact i started walking a mile to work 5 times a week is leaving me confused. I weighed in last saturday at 290lbs so how did i gain almost four pounds if i uped my calorie burn to over 2000 per day and keep my normal calorie intake.
I feel i should be losing that per week.
Anyone have any input on what i can do to start the weigh loss again i still have over 100lbs to go
If I could also get some friends for accountability that would be great

This helped me a lot http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/3088-eating-for-future-you ... Read the sticky's and then use the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Amt7QBR9-c6MdGZlcmNCNmhJWFhtUGl0ZEk1RFd1c0E
Make a copy of it, then you can edit and input your own data .. .Good luck to you!0 -
If you're working out, and burning more calories, but keeping the same calorie goal, its possible that you aren't eating enough, so your body is hanging on to what you give it. Your diary is closed, so can't really say.0

I weigh 317 now and am short 5'3" but recently was stuck for a year and a half bouncing between 9 lbs and gained an inch everywhere (lost muscle), which is very frustrating watching your calories every day. I used the sheet that I gave you in the post above and the advice in this thread http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/557201-how-to-lose-weight-correctly?hl=lose+weight+correctly ... The first link I gave you (up above) is more direct, but you'll have some number crunching to do. It helped me break out of whatever rut I was in and in the last 2 weeks I have lost 2.5 inches on my waist, and 2 on my hips so I know it is working. It is hard because most advice given is that bigger people can have a bigger deficit, but that wasn't the case for me. You may have to eat more than 1500 a day because that isn't much for a male your size. Add me as your friend and I can help you if you are still getting stuck.0
