Developing a program - anyone wanna join?

Im in the process of developing a baby step program to help people attain a healthy lifestyle.
Basically, I've taken all the steps and lessons I've learned over the last decade and combining it into a comprehensive, easy to follow program. I believe in commitment, consistency and camaraderie - commitment to oneslf, consistnecy to the habits and camraderie cause everyone needs support.
As you can read in my profile page, I'm a 10lb yo yo dieter. I'd do really well with my exercise, I'd lose the weight, life would get in the way and I'd lose momentum and gain it all back - I'm sure many of you can relate.
In January, my mind made a switch and I finally got control of my mind and therefore my eating. I was focused, determined and successful. I was determined to be completely toned by the summer and look killer in a bikini. Well that dream went out the door after I got in a minor accident and was injured as a result. I haven't been able to exercise since.
After my accident, I felt really afraid. Afraid that I'd lose all my hard work, afraid that I wouldn't be able to workout like I used to and afraid that I'd end up back where I was again, or even worse. But its been a month and i haven't gained ANY weight back...it's because I finally got control - specifically my emotions.
After being part of a few challenge groups, I noticed that a lot of people struggled with the same things...lack of knowledge and lack of control. I noticed that most books dealt with either nutrition or exercise, but rarely both. And very few dealt with the emotional aspect of eating and losing weight. So that's why I decided to put together a program - to deal with all three. The final product will have videos but I'm still in the writing phase.
I'm still in the process of developing it but I was wondering if any of you would be interested in being part of a test group, to see if the steps, lessons and exercises I've developed are actually helpful and work. Please let me know

other than finally getting serious about losing your "10lb yo yo" what actually makes you qualified to "develop a program"? There are lots of professionals with years of training and education that already do this and while I don't doubt that other yo yo dieters might find your story inspirational I'm just not sure that makes you qualified to do much more than be encouraging.
I guess what I'm asking is are you a dietician, a doctor, a physical trainer, what about you other than losing a few pounds makes you qualified to define steps and exercise for others?0 -
Fair question minkakross - I am none of those things - but over the years I've done my fair share of personal research and studies. So while I have no official paper saying that I've actually read these books, through the years I am gained a lot of knowledge, and that's half the battle IMO.
I'm a teacher by trade and that's all I'm essentially planning on doing. Taking what I know and learned through personal experience, and putting it into lessons and exercises.
It's my way of paying it forward. If what I've learned can help others, that's my goal0 -

having a background in teaching will be a bonus for sure, I can't say I could trust my health to a layman though and I might not be the best fit given I'm in this for the long haul. Best of luck and maybe we'll cross paths again when I'm down to those hard to reach last 10 pounds and you can give me some tips.0
