Last ONE day without Dunkies!! Now I know what I was doing when I was standing in line.. And all I wanted was a gosh darned pumpkin muffin.. Haven't had one so far this season.. So I gave in..Partly because I have my period, and partly because I have no "self-control" anymore.. Hence I bought an Iced Coffee too..:explode: This is depressing, But I also keep telling myself that as long as I'm honest and put EVERYTHING in my food diary, It will eventually make the difference.. Now I'm one of those people who believe in "cheat days".. But this time around, I don't wanna "cheat", cause the Holidays are coming fast, and I always gain weight around Thanksgiving & Christmas... Yesterday I promised myself no "fast food" til next thursday cause its my birthday... WTF!! I couldn't even last one day.. Although tomorrow IS a new day...

I hear ya! I don't go for "cheat days" but there are times that I MUST have a treat. If that happens, I agree with you the best thing is to log it and move on. If it makes you go "over" for one day there's the next day to make up for it, and the next, and the next...

Tomorrow IS a new day, but, also, today has just begun. There's no reason to feel the whole day is now a goner. Acknowledge that the muffin and iced coffee tasted really good, but now start figuring out what healthy lunch you are going to have. And what healthy dinner you are going to have. And what healthy snack you are going to have.
It's ok to enjoy something "not on the list" now and again, but you HAVE to make sure you are accountable for it. Can you walk an extra mile to help walk off the muffin? Can you do an exercise tape when you get home? And by the way, you don't have to make up for those extra calories today. Averages count. Figure out how much over you went on calories today, (if you do go over) and spread that difference out over the next several days so you don't feel like you're punishing yourself too much by going hungry the rest of today.
A lot of this is about self forgiveness, but also about taking control is small steps. You can do it! I know you can! And have a good day!0 -
Thank you! Tomorrow is a new day, and I plan on eating either hunny nut cheerios or vream of wheat for lunch, cause they are no more than 300 calories.. blahh.. and I will walk extra today..!!0

shake it off! I've been losing weight, even with days where I eat excess cake or the day I baked flourless peanut butter cookies and they were addicting and warm.. I had like 5. But I've been on this site for about 7 weeks and have lost 7-8 pounds regardless. Keep with it!0

Logging it is a GOOD thing....it's made me change some of my choices since I know I am accountable to myself. Just gotta move forward girl!0
