What a Difference a Year Makes (-101 Pounds and Pics)

In light of the fact that today marks my 1-year anniversary of starting this journey, I thought I would post my story (and my pics).
Stats 6/4/2011-6/4/2012
Height: 5'7.5
Weight: 247.8-146.6 (-101.2!)
Chest: 50 inches-38.5 (-21.5!!)
Arm: 13.5-10.5 (-3)
Waist: 42-29.75 (-12.25)
Hips: 48-36 (-12)
Thigh: 28-21.25 (-6.75)
Total Inches Lost: 55.5!!!
Clothing Size: 24W-7/8; 3XL-Medium
What has worked for me:
1. AMAZING MFP Friends! I have the most unbelievably supportive group of MFPals...You gals/guys know who you are! Love y'all! Couldn't have done this without them!
2. Drinking at least 100 oz of water a day...
3. Limiting my sodium to 1500 a day...which forces me to eat cleaner overall and choose less processed foods.
4. I found things I like and eat them again and again. I literally eat the same breakfast everyday...and it is like heaven!!!
5. For much of my weight loss, I was set at 1200 calories. I typically ate back some (but definitely not ALL) of my exercise calories back.
6. I schedule my workouts and do them religiously. I pack my gym bag and bring it with me to work and go right to the gym after work. No excuses. I try to mix my workouts up and do a mix of strength training and cardio workouts. I am now starting to do exercise classes at my gym for even more variety! I completed both the 30DS and Ripped in 30 during my weight loss.
7. RUNNING! I did the C25K program...and couldn't even run 30 seconds at first. I now am running 9 miles non-stop on my long run days. I am planning on running my first half-marathon in October.
8. Joining challenges posted on the MFP forums! That is where I met most of my best MFPals...AND they really pushed me to challenge myself!
Now for the good part (sorry there are lots of pics!).....

Thanks for viewing my journey! I hope it has inspired you in some way! As my mom would always say...BELIEVE IT and you will SEE IT! :flowerforyou:

WOW! I just joined a week and a half ago and I've found this to work better for me than WW points system. Looking at you and reading your story has inspired me even more than the 8 pounds I've already lost since joining. I hope in a year I can get back in the 100's and out of the 200's for the first time since highschool, which is about 15 years ago. Thank you for sharing, you look stunning and CONGRATULATIONS!0
