I'm still navigating this weight loss thing so it feels so weird being asked for advice! Here is what I have hewed to these past few months:
1. Chewing gum helps when you think your hungry
2. Do not get on the scale everyday
3. Try new foods
4. Eat with a small spoon/fork. Use small dinner plates
5. Take small bites. Chew slowly
6. Do not skip breakfast.
7. Fiber makes you feel full.
8. Eat when you feel hungry, not when you THINK you are hungry
9. If you must drink juice, dilute it with water.
10. You are allowed to treat yourself now and again. The secret is to know when to say "that's enough"
11. Maintian a positive "I can do this" attitude. Don't be hard on yourself when you've had an off day.
12. Celebrate the small wins...even if you've lost an ounce, a loss is a loss!0 -

To be honest I hate exercising. I was taking kickboxing but stopped. I am watching what I eat and am trying to be more active overall. Since I despise exercise, I find creative ways to be more active (i.e parking my car farther away from a store entrance, taking the stairs, doing more house cleaning, carrying groceries in the litte carrier instead of using an actual carriage, stand at my computer instead of sitting down).0 -
