Timeframe of loss using fat2fit

If you are eating the calories like fat2fit says, how much longer is it going to take to get to goal? I only have another 10-15 to lose and I would rather that not take another 6 months but it sounds nice eating that calorie amount.

I realize no one is going to be able to say exactly how long it will take, but has anyone done it this way and can tell me what your success has been since switching to more calories.0

My husband and I are following the F2F ideas. I have been doing it for about 6 weeks and have lost about 16-20 lbs (I do the variation because of my TOM, last week I was at 20, this week because of water weight I have gone back to 16, this will change again next week). I am having much more sucess then my friends who are trying to follow extremely low calorie diets. It's going to take me a while, I was hoping to have my 60-80 lbs off by Christmas, but its going to be a little longer then that. I'm fine with that, mainly because I do not feel like I am starving myself, or giving up anything!!!
How long have you been listening to F2F?0 -
I LOVE this Podcast! I was wondering the same thing for time frame, however, I think like anything it varies for everyone. Seems to me that a 1 lb loss a week is typical, even for the host.
In the free app, it says you can cut another 200-300 cals per day once you get to within 10-20 lbs of your goal weight to speed up your loss...
Even though they seem skeptical of the program, I'm doing the Insanity workouts so I'm hoping that I'm building LOTS of lean muscle and that's why my loss has slowed down (measurements continue to go down!)
Good luck!0 -
I ate at a calorie level around their rec for me for 2 months last year and lost 2 lbs. I couldn't take it and gave up. If I'm going to track each bite I eat, I want to see some changes. Silly, but a very common mindset. Lack of scale movement does derail a lot of us.0

Why will it take so long ? because you are eating at maintenance for where you want to be, so as your fixed calorie intake gets closer and closer to your falling TDEE the deficit gets smaller and smaller so it takes longer and longer. Mathematicians call it an "asymptotic approach".0
