    Shawshank Redemption. Forrest Gump. Castaway. When I don't feel like getting dragged thru the full range of emotions by big epics (see above), I go for something soft & fluffy like Amelie.

    ANY 80s teen movie. Especially John Hughes-Breakfast Club, 16 candles, Pretty in Pink. And Robert Zemeckis has some of my favorites as well, like Romancing the Stone, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and my all-time favorite movie Back to the Future.
