This morning the scale tells me I've lost 140 lbs.

So I've been at this for slightly over 15 months. I've been eating healthy (limiting processed foods, focusing on protein, fruit and veggies; and eating portions the size a human should be eating, rather than what a grizzly bear should be eating) and exercising (cardio, weight training and stretching/yoga).

I don't know what my goal is, but I do know that it's approaching. Perhaps when I get there, I'll know.

I decided to reward myself by buying The Who's The Kids are Alright, both the DVD and the soundtrack.

Now the pictures:

After some digging, I found some of me at my heaviest (329 lbs). Sorry there's not a full length shot, but it's a miracle that this one even exists, since I'm not very comfortable in front of still camera.

Here's one that was taken two months later, after I had lost about 10 lbs:

And now two that were taken within the last week or so:

The hard work paid off, didn't it? Way to go, Arynn. On a side note, gosh I LOVE your office! Set against the forest like that it looks like you work (or live) in a tree house. How inspiring is that!

So when you planning to update your profile pic? How do you see yourself - as the old or the new girl?

    Thank you, it did!

I love it too. Luckily for me, it's where I live AND work!

I should change that profile pic. It was a long time coming, but I think I finally AM seeing myself as a new woman.

That's wonderful!!! I'm glad to hear about your success. I like you do not have a target weight. However, I just want to have self control when eating and be disciplined to exercise regularly. Thanks for the motivation. Stay focused and best wishes.

You should reward yourself with a memorable gift. That is like graduating. Fantastic progress, Good for you and Thank you for sharing. It means alot to us when we are just, like 18 pound in and 90 to go.
I don't know what my goal weight is either, just waiting to feel healthy in my body.
