I think you are referring to the 17 day diet...? I did it, lost about 20lbs, specially in the first cycle, but got real sick of eating the same thing every day. LOVE the soup tho... yummers!0

The 17 day diet helped me out, but didn't lose as much as they said I would, but then, again, probably didn't follow as striclty as I should have. I lost about 13 lbs in the first 17 days, even with a cheat here and there. I think it just does a good job of encouraging you to eat healthier, and with smaller portion sizes. Although the unlimited cleansing vegetables part was the best, it allows you to really load up a salad with healthy stuff and still lose.0

Eat all of the vegetables (and vegetable soup) that you wish.
Wednesday
A combination of Monday & Tuesday (i.e. fruit – except bananas, juices, vegetables, vegetable soups).
Thursday
Eat 5 bananas and drink 5 glasses of whole milk. Some versions say 8 bananas and 4 glass of milk.
Friday
Eat 4 steaks of meat (3 ounces each – beef/chicken/fish) with unlimited green vegetables.
Saturday
Eat 4 steaks of meat (3 ounces each – beef/chicken/fish) with unlimited green vegetables.
Sunday
Eat 4 steaks of meat (3 ounces each – beef/chicken/fish) with unlimited green vegetables.0 -

That is not sustainable. There are no carbs. Your brain prefers glucose as an energy source, and will not be very happy with you if you deprive it! My friend decided to cut carbs from his diet. He was sluggish, headachy, and generally unhappy for the week he did it. He lost weight though. So if you want to pay the consequences, this "diet" will shed a few pounds relatively quickly.0 -

I have done it before. I was 125 lbs. when I did it. I would not encourage it. I lost about 3 lbs. and then gained more back!! Dont do it!!0
