I started MFP and daily walking workout video about 8 weeks ago.....was going strong and lost 8 lbs......now teetering between 6 and 8 lbs lost which I am happy about but my healthy eating habits and daily walking has started to shift back to my old ways......trying desperately to get back on track and need some advice........
Thanks in advance to all of you who respond!

Pick yourself up and start again. This time, work the foods you love into your "healthy eating habits" rather than changing entirely - that will be more sustainable in the long run. The walk should be earning you calories to eat more of the foods you love, and that should help with motivation.

Most importantly, if you want the results, you gotta do the work. If you aren't willing to do the work, you'll never see the results.

You may want to switch your workout a bit. Your body may be getting used to the walking. You may want to start adding some faster pace intervals in your walks or just add another exercise to your program. Keep eating healthy and remember that in the end all of this is going to pay off. I am not sure if you are calling this a diet but you may want to start looking at this as a life style change. Where you are making eating healthy and exercising a daily part of your life so it becomes natural for you. I hope this helps

Thanks for your responses and encouragement, did a 47 minute 4mph paced brisk walk tonight......no late night snacking tonight and back on full track tomorrow.....amazing what a little bit of encouragement will do....thanks again
