Lacking motivation and seeking friends

Hi, I am wondering how long I have to wait til I see a difference because that would really motivate me. It's not worth seeing a lower number on the scale unless I see a change in my body.
I don't have any friends who are on MFP so if anyone's looking for a buddy, please let me know! Especially if you're a teenager.
Also tonight I felt gross and bloated (still kinda do) despite staying within my calories for the day. I really hate that and I want to know what I'm doing wrong/if there's a way to circumvent that.
I promised myself I wouldn't give up but without visible progress it's hard to hold on..help!!

i am going on week 5 of my diet and exercise plan and it took me around 3 weeks to see a difference, it showed mostly in my thghs first,0

Hello, It could take a week, Patience is required, but don't worry it will come off! I'm 18, so still a teenager I guess haha, Of course i'd be your friend.0
