Enter some of the choices into your diary. See what would fit into your day. Watch portions.

definitely salad and veg omelet, but you should be able to have some of the other stuff as well if you watch the portions.

I suppose it depends on what sort of eating plan you have. Garden salad (without dressing) and pickles should be low cal. Vegetable omelette and scrambled eggs will be nutritious and filling. Ham and turkey will be high protein. Coleslaw is high cal but nice and has veg so I might have a spoonful if it was me! I would eat corned beef hash, but corned beef is a higher fat meat - fine if you are eating fat. Some of the things, it will depend on how they are cooked (e.g. French toast). Bacon is thin slices so doesn't have a huge amount of calories just for that reason. Sausage tends to be higher fat. Potato salad is high fat/high cal/high carb if made with mayo. Cookies and birthday cake, high sugar/carb and highish fat. I might have just a small cube of birthday cake if it was a type I really liked, but not bother if it wasn't something good. If you can manage to have small portions (difficult with things like French toast), you could just have bits of the things you really like. I'd be the person with a teaspoonful of this, a teaspoonful of that, one or two home fries, etc!

Edit: I meant to say, I suppose it also depends on whether it would be replacing a meal, or whether it's an extra.

:flowerforyou: Its hard to advise if no one really knows what your goals are. The advise will be based on their personal goals, as opposed to your own.

Make smart choices that fit into the lifestyle that you have chosen, whether that be watching sodium, fat, carbs, sugar...and so on.

Odds are you already know what you should / should not eat...

    Have a great day!

I would eat the scrambled eggs and bacon. Two eggs is 140 calories, and bacon is only about 60-70 per slice.

A plain bagel is roughly 290 calories for a normal size, no spread.

I would do half a bagel (they are probably going to be those huge as yoru hands ones) wtih scrambled eggs.
Turkey and swiss and garden salad (vinigarette or any dressing that's not creamy). Pass on the cookies and cake (since I can't say no to seconds :/ )

I agree with this, too. Pre-prepared omelets are hard to measure cheese in. Is there going to be fruit? Eggs, bacon, ww toast and fruit makes a mighty good breakfast. With maybe a small cookie to dunk in my coffee.
    MMMM.

What do you like to eat? This is a journey not about missing out and depriving yourself, but learning how to eat and enjoy. Portion size is major. If you really want the cake, then go slim on the rest of the day to allow for the cake. If your thing is volume of food then don't pick things like the bagel or the cake, but pick the veggies and eggs.

You can do it. But if you go over on your counts for the day reevaluate and see where you might do better the next time. We're all learning.

Vegetable omelet, scrambled eggs and garden salad (with low or no fat dressings) are the best choices. You can add a little bacon too.
