just joined

I just joined today. I recently gained 30 pounds after losing my job and have decided that summer is not the best time to be overweight. I am going to start "watching what I eat" but I really have to will power or motivation so I thought joining a group would be the best thing for me... I guess what I am saying is I really need some cheerleaders : ) I haven't really gone through the site yet so I don't know what to expect or how to add friends etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

    All you have to do is say to yourself, YES I CAN, and if you have a bad day, wake up the next day and try to do better! Change doesnt happen overnight but think at the end of the summer you'll weigh less than you did at the beginning! Good luck you can do this! WE CAN HELP! :)

    I lost 21lb on the Cambridge Diet and switched to MFP five weeks ago and I've lost a further 8lb
    I can highly recommend MFP I've no willpower either but this is really helping
