Hi Pals,

I have been taking:
1000mg Vitamin C tablet (daily)
2 Cod Liver Oil tablets (daily)
A Protein Shake (mostly post -workout - existing is 213 calories per serving)

I'm planning to add this to help recovery (my legs feel a little tight and tired after workouts and the next day:
1000mg Vitamin C tablet (daily)
2 Cod Liver Oil tablets (daily)
A Protein Shake (mostly post -workout, new one only 97 calories per serving)
BCCA's (during workouts)
Glutamine (mixed in with the Protein shake)

Any thoughts?
&
Would be interested to see what others a re using, if any.

Thanks,

Loozin

I use an all natural whey protein powder (cookies and cream of course) after workouts to keep the muscle and recover faster while burning fat off. Other than that I do not take anything else

i'm Vit D deficient, so take Vit D with calcium, i also take multi vitamins, and some days use a protein shake after weight training. helps with muscle recovery.
  • I take calcuim 1000mg or more, vit. b complex, zinc, vit d, vit c - 1000mg. The calcium supplement helps when my legs ache, since I don't drink enough milk to get the calcium from that.

I might get me some Calcium too - I don't really do much dairy apart in Tea or Coffee.

  • I take calcium with vitamin D, 1000 mg of vitamin C, a multi-vitamin, a vitamin combination called Hair, Skin and Nails, and Glucosamine with MSM.

I take absolutely no suplements. I used to work in a plant that made vitamins and I became allergic to them. I go to a nutritionist and try to get all my nutrients from real food. I do use some protein bars to keep up the protein as I exercise over 2 hours each day.

I don't take anything. I eat a variety of veggies/fruits/grains/dairy to keep my micro-nutrients up.

    - Vitamin D (2k IU's / day)
    - Fish Oil 6 grams / day
    - DC's Whey Protein Formula
    - BCAA Plus
    - Karboload (fast-acting carbohydrate drink)
    - RockitFuel (stimulant)
    - CreaPure (10mg's on lifting days)
    - Milk Thistle (liver health)
    - Real Lemon Juice (liver health)
