Diabolical Sabatage

Ok, so I live in Chicago and we have a cupcake van here that drives around and you can buy cupcakes from them. Yes, a cupcake VAN! You can even like them on Facebook and track them so you can get your sugar fix. Seriously, how fat is that?
If that's not a delicious sabatage for a good diet, I don't know what is. These cupcakes are like crack, and I totally have had them.....alot.:blushing:

Anyone have an equally bad thing in their town/area that delivers this sort of sugary and or fat goodness?

No. And therefore, I've decided I'm packing up and moving to Chicago. Right now. Clear off the sofa, honey, 'cause company's coming!! :)

I work in the Chicago Loop....I've seen the cupcake truck! It's like being a little kid again..when the ice cream truck would come down your block  We also have a sausage truck that sits outside our building at lunch..fortunately I do not like brauts. And there's a Connie Pizza truck that drives around the loop!

We have a truck called the "Gouda Girls". They make fatting grilled cheese sandwiches. They used to be called the chubby cheese girls but changed their name, wonder why?

Unfortunately yes. Artisan everything in any kind of moving vehicle you can think of. A lot of artists here in Oakland - and they are crafty when it comes to entrepreneurship on the cheap. Cupcake vans. Indian food trucks, rotisserie vans, belgian waffles, organic ice cream carts, homemade chocolate....thank god i never carry cash LOL

I know how to avoid getting out of all that. Don't 'like' them on Facebook and don't 'follow' them. Problem solved.

How dare you give me a rational and logical solution to my problem. I prefer to complain about it!! LOL, I know I could totally do that.

I live across the street from a Japanese bakery that makes the most divine tiramisu and croissants. God help me because I can't help myself. I just work it into my diet by swimming and then walking over there.

I saw a food truck on vacation once, I didn't care what they were selling I just hopped in line...

And got a vegan Nutella popsicle! Made in a dixie cup line the ones I made when I was a kid. So rad.

Well, not in the same league as cupcakes but we have chip wagons scattered all around town and in addition to the usual corndogs & french fries a local favourite is a wonderfully disgusting concoction know as poutine (no, it's not pronounced poooteen - it's a French word) fries, smothered in gravy and cheese curds (and "gourmet" variants using different sauces).........I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

It was a vegan popsicle truck, in San Francisco :) And it was quite good.
