how did you lose weight?

Did you follow any type of program while counting calories to lose weight? If so, which program?

    It's different for everyone. I can't lose weight unless I lower my intake of carbs and sugar while I am also counting calories. And I have to stop drinking.

    I just followed MFP. I logged everything, and added regular daily exercise. Basically ate less and exercised more.

    What works for me is eating less crappy stuff and more better stuff and extracting my @ss from the couch. And not doing anything I can't see sustaining for the rest of my life. YMMV

    No program. Simply eat less, exercise more.

    I lost 110 pounds with Weight Watchers, then I started gaining after I got to goal... and now I use MFP for counting calories, but still go to the meetings for the support (and my awesome WW leader who was there for me through the ups and downs of my weight loss!).

    No specific program, but here's what I've found helpful over the past 14 months:

    1. Regular exercise, including working with a personal trainer.
    2. Logging food and water with MFP.
    3. Making healthier food choices: choose healthy fats, watch the simple carbs.
    4. Eat what I like when I'm hungry, enjoy it, stop when I'm full.
