Calling all Band Geeks!

I have discovered Penny Lane as the perfect song for my brisk walking pace. If only I could bring myself to listen to it over and over......and over again. I try to keep my walking playlist a bit up-tempo, because as hard as I try not to, I find my pace increases or decreases as per the current song.
Those of you reading this because you could relate to the subject line know exactly what I'm talking about. Those of you reading this out of simple curiosity.....join a marching band and you'll get it soon enough.
Unfortunately this affects me all the time, not just when walking. I'm pretty bad with it in the car also. If it's raining, the movement/thump of the wipers must be in time with the song on the radio. The same goes for the bump over the reflectors on (in?) the centre line. Of course, that one only applies if there's no other traffic on the road and I'm trying to pass the time.....
Does anybody else adjust their workout music according to their movements? Hopefully this isn't just me.....

very random - but this reminded me of how i met my boyfriend of over ten years. AT BAND CAMP (in high school)! lol.
but you are not the only one that adjusts their music to certain exercise routines. i use a songs with more bass and a faster tempo when doing cardio, and then slower songs when cooling down. i think everyone more or less have similar habits. never tried to align my wipers with a song though, lol.0 -
Yep I adjust constantly LOL - I prefer heavy metal or hair band "rock" for getting thru the "jogs" and of course there's always Rocky if I totally have NO motivation0
