Psoriasis, depression and eatting disorders

Anyone out there with moderate to severere psoriasis out there? I find I feed my depression with all the wrong foods and tend to binge.

    I only had it on my scalp but it went away. My brother has severe psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

    You might want to look into that if you have pain which could be exacerbating your depression.

    Not now, when I was younger, yes. My head would flake not just white but red (scabs). Bad enough my kids would help me take the big pieces out with a lice comb when I was younger.

    You might outgrow it. I did (about when I turned 30).

    But I also take a multi-vitamin, fish oil, and osteo bi-flex and I suspect that helps. And to this day when I don't get enough sun I still get patches (luckily I live in Florida). I even resort to a tanning bed when need be.

    I have severere psoriasis. i was on enbrel shots and it REALLY works. after one month i could tell a HUGE difference!! i went off the shots b/c my period went kind of crazy and i didn't want to risk if I was pregnant.. which i wasn't just changed my eating habits and of course my body changed.. then i was stressed about quti smoking and giving myself the shots was a lot to deal with.. now I have an app with my dermatologist at the end of July.. i had to wait two month! i am going to stik with it this time. I have plaque psoriasis and i soak in the bath and have lots of lotion until i can see my dr. i would recommed trying to see one. it will really change your life.. i really never been one to care about my psoriasis.. i have always told people what it was.. but after having those shots and stopping and seeing how bad it was.. kind of made me feel guitly b.c now people ask.. hey?! what is going on.. i thought it was getting better and I have to explain that i stopped taking my meds.. lol.. that is what bothered me more..

    please feel free to add me. I do understnd what it is like living with this and I thank my dad for it when he wants to get wise with me
