Not eating enough?

Since I started tracking my food intake on this site I have in turn started to make better choices. Adversely, I also on some days have not been eating enough calories. I try to eat healthy and make good choices, but I don't want my deficit to be too great either. I am running a lot and I burned over 500 calories yesterday between running and swimming. The site says that I should take in 1700-1800 some odd calories in order to have a 500 calorie deficit to lose weight. After burning another 500 calories, I would have had to eat 2300 calories yesterday. I only ate 1831 calories.
Will this be a problem in not taking in enough calories? I felt full most of the day and I didn't try to starve myself, though I felt pretty tired after a 2.5 mile run. I ate pretty healthy meals and some healthy snacks in between. I went out last night and bought some almonds and clif bars to help supplement throughout the day.
Any suggestions?

zero7one, you should be congratulated on your hard work and exercise! Way to go! Secondly, I had the same question last week and someone sent me this link, hope it helps!0 -
there are mixed feelings towards this.
Some eat all extra calories
Some eat some
Some eat none
I was told not to eat my extra calories unless I am really actually hungry not just because I want to snack.0 -
I usually eat some of mine back. It depends on really if I am hungry or not. Right now I have been forcing myself to eat every 3 hours to keep my body going. I think if you listen to your body then you will know what to do. I would try to eat atleast some of them with all of the hard work you are putting into the gym!!!
Keep it up!!!0 -
Exactly what I was looking for! Thank You!0
