and start over. Plus the fact I weigh 6 lbs more than I did in the first place. I was 137, got down to 127 and then blew out my knee from overuse. So then, slowly but surely I gave up watching my calories, got hooked up with a low glycemic diet(which I still think is very good)where I wasn't taught to count my calories, just eat "servings". Well, leaving me on my own figuring in my brain how much a serving is, just doesn't work for me obviously. I am fighting depression constantly(out of work etc etc)and "comfort eating" too. Lots of snacks, protein, but still, way too much for this bod anyway:cry:

I hope I can stick to this and get back down, and then reach my "dream" goal one day.

Hope to meet some new peeps and maybe some of the old crowd is still here as well. I was starting MFP this time last year. I pray it works for me again, denise

I hear you - I was doing really well until I went back to school for the year, and today is the first time I've been on MFP since september! Ugh it's hard!

Hey Denise! I'm actually from Medford! It's good to see someone else from the area on here!! The cloudy days we've been having here have definitely made it a little harder for me to keep serious. I think I'm gonna try and get a video to do, because the cold mornings have been making me want to stay warm in bed. I need to snap out of it though! RAWR!

Hi darlin, yes it is hard. I will be starting a new job on the 16th of November and will need to plan my meals as well. At least we all have eachother here to talk to and encourage one an other. I know we can all do this. I know the best thing for me before was logging every single thing I ate. Oh, and drinking that water;) I learned from a sweet lady here that drinking water was truly a key to losing weight, just one key, but a very important one. hugs, denise

Hi RK!! Nice to meet you:) I am out in Sams Valley. I got a seasonal job with Harry and David which is going to be a big help with my depression over being broke. I don't expect it to lead to perm but anything could happen. I am really stressed about Customer Service out there. I tried that years ago with another company and it was really rough. I have to try and keep a positive attitude about it all,

write me anytime, I will be around, denise:)

I'm just coming back myself. I tried eating servings but that didn't work either.

welcome to you also. I hear you. Doing it without keeping track on the food diary was really a huge mistake for me. But also, as I think I mentioned, it was the snacking(comfort eating or whatever it's called). So far so good, this is day two of being back in the saddle, lol;)

I want to make sure I am logged at least a week and then I will throw in some exercise. I don't want to try to do it all at once because I know me, I will get too overwhelmed with being "perfect" about it all, and might blow it.

See you soon and hang in there, denise

I have been off since June--and CANNOT do this by myself!! Gained back 7 pounds and got to take action again--it worked when I was doing it!

    We could start a sub-group
BACK ON THE WAGON for those who left and came back!! LOL
