Before and During Photos - 100lbs lost!

In February 2011, I started a journey to become a better, healthier person after being so fed up of being stuck in a fat suit and having no confidence in myself. At my highest weight, I was 258lbs (could have possibly weighed more than this before I was brave enough to step on the scales).

I weighed in today at 158, and until I worked it out, I didn't actually realise I'd hit the 100lb mark!

I haven't finished my weight loss journey yet. I'm still 4lbs of being a 'normal' BMI and will lose some extra lbs until I'm happy with my body.

All my weight loss was done through a combination of eating healthier, reducing portion sizes and exercising.

Here is a picture of me before my weight loss journey at around 258lbs:

Its been a very hard journey, I've had some struggles and tantrums along the way, but it has been extremely beneficial, I'm gaining a lot of my confidence back and generally feel healthier and have more energy.

I hope that my journey at least motivates one person! Good Luck to everyone else with their journey! Anyone can feel free to add me, I'd love more encouragement for the last leg of my weight loss and would be happy to motivate others too! If I can do it, You can do it too!

(Hopefully my pictures are not massive, if so I will edit them accordingly when I see them).

    WOW I can't wait to get there. How long did it take you? The thing i noticed about before and after photos is the eyes. When they are a bigger size they seem small,kinds get lost in the face, but after the weight loss the eyes look bigger,brighter. You look beautiful!!

    Its taken me about a year and 3months so far, its starting to slow WAY down now and struggling to lose the pounds now but I dont mind too much. I dont want a quick fix and I definately don't want to put it back on so I'm just taking it slow and steady.

    I haven't completely cut out on the foods I really liked, I now just eat them in moderation when I want them, completely cutting them out probably would have been bad and I'd have gone back to old habits.

    I'm glad you said it was hard because I have lost 65lb but am going through a struggle
