They absolutely do not work. Well, they are moisturizer, which is really good for your skin - but they can not actually "shrink" fat.

Speaking of which: there is no such thing as an "anti-wrinkle" cream. It's a good thing wrinkles don't hurt!

    Sorry for the bad news.

Ok, so here's the thing with (rapid) weight (loss/gain) and skin.

You have like a bunch of layers for your skin (like onions). And as your body mass changes, your skin takes a bit of time to catch up (think like when you are at the DMV).

Moisturizing your skin is -good-. Toning lotion, less so much. Just use generic "I R LOTION" and call it good. It will help the process of your skin to heal, and catch up with weight (loss/gain) healing.

No, it won't get rid of stretch marks (but can help reduce appearance)
No, it won't get rid of cellulose, but it can help alter the appearance.

Always do this after you've taken a warm shower/bath and dried off. This is when your skin absorbs the easiest is while still hot, and clean (of course) to prevent dirt from clogging pores and causing other cosmetic problems.

    My current love?
Good ol' fashions jergens. Comes in a pump top so I don't have to get the bottle all greased up, and it sits by the bath tub when I get out.

I don't think it works too. I've tried everything, but unfortunately there's no magic, except exercising, drinking plenty of H2O and eating healthy. I know many people will try to sell you those expensive products, because they’ve tried doing it to me! But hey, please if anyone found one; feel free to share it with me! And please no endorsement, just real experience!

I agree with all of the above although at one point i was using Palmers Coco butter, not purposly for the fact it helps tone your skin but cause i just like the smell of it ha but i did notice an improvement in 1 or 2 areas where i did have a bit of cellulite. So i do recommend that

I didn't even know they are advertised as "fat shirnkers" haha, what I'd like to know is do they improve elasticity of the skin more than a normal moisturiser so it doesn't become loose?

This is a trucker. Half in the sun of his truck, and half in the shade. Hours on the road. And forgetting his SPF.

I am losing my weight slowly but I've got a lot to lose so I am preparing my skin early, I know that creams don't get rid of cellulite or stretchmarks, question is why toning lotion is worse than normal moisturiser?
I just bought Parmers firming cream : it says " A unique combination of Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Collagen and Elastin helps to significantly improve skin's firmness. This non-greasy formula also contains Ginseng and Vitamin E to help nourish and rejuvenate tired skin. Clinically proven to help increase skin's firmness in 6 weeks. " is it BS ?
p.s. the picture is crazy! maybe it will make people think about going on sunbeds haha.

I don't think it is BS, like i said in my last post, i used Palmer's coco butter at one point and definatly noticed a difference. Not a huge difference but definatly a difference which is good for a moisturiser. I recommend it

As someone who has lost a large amount of weight (and still has a lot to go) I can tell you that Sam's Club sells a Vitamin E and Collagen cream (it is yellow - I forgot the Brand name) that is awesome! It really has helped my skin as it is trying to shrink back. I have tried others, but they didn't seem to be as good. It doesn't say it will shrink your skin, I just think it is to help keep your skin conditioned and it does...for me at least.

Hahaha. Lotion didn't help me. I do think drinking a ton of water did, though. And weight training. And yes, use your sunscreen like someone up there demonstrated.
