Hi,

A couple of months ago I had to start on a beta blocker due to having a high volume of PVCs (heart arrhythmia). I had lost 112 pounds in a year and have been exercising heavily and using an HRM. Now, it's a whole new ball game with the meds. I was wondering if anyone else out there is in my situation and would like to be mfp buddies?

I have been on a Beta Blocker for years now, I do not have any side affect from mind now, some people do with different kinds, such as hair loss etc.. you have to find the right one for your body.. By the way You are amazing and so deticated to being healthy !! I would love to be your friend ! :flowerforyou:

I just restarted Nadolol yesterday for SVT having been off it for six months. Gutted as it totally tanks my metabolism. Love to have friends on BBs
  • I'm on propranolol for migraines. For me, I'm wondering if it's affected my thyroid function, as I have some symptoms of hypothyroidism (always freezing cold etc), so I'm hoping to get my free T3 and free T4 tested when I next go to the doctor. (Some studies have shown that propranolol inhibits conversion of T4 to T3 - T3 is the active form of thyroid hormone.)

I'm always happy for more friend requests! Just let me know why you're adding me. :)
