    Every time I see a thread whining about lack of support on MFP, my eyeball twitches. Honestly, I have never in my life had so much support and encouragement. I could not have gotten where I have without my snarky, flirty, highly motivated, amazing friends on MFP. They push me when I need it, hug me when I'm falling apart and cheer me when I make my knuckles bloody. I love my friends on here and anyone of them would be welcomed in my home, anytime.

    But here's the thing...It's a two way street. You get what you give. If you don't have awesome friends on here, it is you, not them. If you want good friends be a good friend, It's really not difficult.

      MFP is essentially my only support system. I can vent, joke, flirt, play, etc. and just generally be myself AS WELL AS get and give support/encouragement for others.

      YESSS! You get out of it what you put in! I was floored when over 70 of my friends commented on my "hopefully breaking the plateau" loss yesterday! But then I realized - wait a minute - I'm there rooting them on everyday too so YEAH! **kitten* smacks* for all of my buddies! :)

      Totally agree with this.

      My MFP friends have been invaluable to me even when I'm whiny, tired, stressed, cursing, kickin' *kitten*, etc. I couldn't have been so successful without each of them, old and new.

      Just like in real life, attitude is everything. If you have a sh!tty attitude, you're not going to find great friends, and you're experience will be less than positive.

      Definitely a two-way street! And my other pet peeve is people trying to sell me stuff. I'm here for weight loss, not diet pills, body wrap, shakes, blah, blah, blah. I'm ok with a little hard work, it's makes it more rewarding in the end.

      My friends here have been there to cheer me up and cheer me on. I couldn't have made the progress I have made without them. I hope that they feel the same way about me.

      Ultimately, it is about how I move my *kitten*, and what I put in my mouth but I couldn't do it without my MFP team.
