Ketogenic Diet

I've been on the Ketogenic Diet for 5 days now, this diet consists of 5-10% carb intake a day. I hit keytosis in a bout 2 days without carbs but i am now in full keytosis. The point of this diet is for the body to be depleted of carbs to allow body to go into ketosis. While in ketosis since the body is depleted of carbs it looks for another energy source.

The only next energy source is (FAT)... Yes, while in Ketosis the body burns fat for energy. It's a great way to thin out and and get toned. I already see my upper abs and i know in a few weeks i will start to see the lower ones.

    I will be on till i hit about 9-10% body fat.

    You appear to be fairly lean already. What is your current BF%
  • I would recommend a CKD as an alternative so that your adherence improves as well as strength. A straight keto diet is unlikely to be a great long term plan but congrats on your progress!

    Those pics are old, in one pic i was 196 but had was about 15% body fat. And in other pic i was 175 and about 11% bodyfat. NOW im about 185-190 and 16% bodyfat

    Thank you love, i'm hoping to hit 10% bodyfat in a few weeks then i will be going on regular diet with about 40% carbs, 40% protein and 20% fats
