STALLING!!

It seems that nowadays, all of the information that we need, or want, can be found on blogs. I can usually find good tips, motivation, recipes, etc, on most of the blogs that I've read. What I can't find is anyone that has any tips for a weight loss plateau that APPLIES to me.
I have been counting calories since January 9, 2012. I've lost a little over 31 pounds since then, but now I'm stalling. I started stalling when I started taking birth control! We already have one child. Both my husband and I, work full-time and we're full-time college students, as well as parents. Birth control, more specifically: NuvaRing, sounded like the smartest thing to do.
Well it was. Until I had it in for a little over a week. My weighloss went from roughly a pound+ loss to NOTHING lost, with an occassional GAIN. I know, I know, I shouldn't use the scale to determine how I look. I can't help it.. I just want to weigh what I did before I had my son. Or at least very, very close.
So the question that I'm asking is this, is there anything that I can do to get out of this slump, without stopping the birth control? I have not changed my eating habits, though I want to sometimes. I have not changed my exercise habits. I'm still walking different routes and speeds 3-4 nights a week, and playing softball for 2 hours on one night. Has anyone else experienced this? What have you done?

31 lbs in ~20 weeks is a good average. I wasn't clear how long you've stalled ? can you also say something about height and current weight.
Your eating habits do offer scope for improvement, the 20 oz full sugar soda and hot dog probably did you no favours.
Your calorie expenditure will have declined with your weight, and with your food intake restriction, have you recalculated your goals recently ? Try the fat calculators at http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/ then plug the result into http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ and tell us the answer.0 -

I stalled for about 4 weeks.
I recalculated and got stuck still with a little over 1400 cals. I don't want to go any lower, as I do want to lose the weight a tad more slowly..
