Who wears short shorts?

...to run/jog/exercise, etc?
I recently bought some new summer workout gear as my things from last summer no longer fit. Well, that included a couple of pairs of short shorts. I went for a run in them yesterday and I was informed that my lady parts were over exposed. I'm rephrasing because the actual quote was not very nice. I was told that they were quite inappropriate.
Now I feel self conscious...is it inappropriate to wear tight/short shorts while exercising? I mean, it's not like I was running in the nude...!! What gives? Maybe I need a dose of modesty?

i feel weird about wearing shorts too. i think we just have to do it. people wear shorts all the time. we can't be charged with indecency!
i want to know what they said though, was it an old woman? old senial women are the worst0 -
Haha, actually it was a friend...male...maybe that had something to do with it?0
-
I wear them...I don't care what other people think about it, it's bloody hot in the gym and outside at this time of year. As long as nothing REALLY inappropriate is being exposed then I don't see what the problem is.0
-
I love my legs, so I wear them too, as long as your...um... "baby door" wasn't pushing out the bottoms... then I think its fine0

I usually wear short shorts to workout in, but never tight ones. I don't like feeling like everyone can see the outline of my *kitten* in tight shorts. I usually get my shorts from Areo.0

If you aren't hanging all out I don't see a problem. Screw the haters. Tell them to mind their FB!0
-
If I had your body, I most certainly would! Who cares what other people's definitions of modesty are? If you feel confident, I say go for it!0

Think he was prob jealous that guys would be looking at u. Wear ur shorts n don't listen0

Not a chance. Even my medium size boxer briefs UNDERNEATH my shorts frequently do not, er, "hold their own" during a workout.0
-
I wear them. I like my legs. Plus it's hot in Florida, we're barely dressed half the year.0
-
This girl does!
Who cares what other people think?! As long as everything's covered up I say you're good to go.0 -
I just love the freedom. Too long and my thighs rub together. I can't wait for the gap!0

I love cute little spandex shorty shorts. When you lift they move and bend with you so its more comfortable. Yeah sometimes they ride up and look like panties but its cool, just fix it after.0

*please let there be picture, please let there be pictures* Ah shucks :laugh:0

I don't like wearing shorts to work out. I feel like I am sticking to the seats on the machines. I prefer my yoga pants. I also noticed when others are wearing their shorty shorts and lay on a certain machine their junk was quite exposed. I didn't appreciate seeing hairy *kitten* as I was exercising.
If you are comfortable and you weren't hanging out for the world to see I don't think it should be a problem. To each their own right.0 -
Hey she was probably jealous, I'm sure everything was covered! She must have been interested in your lady parts. and if that was the case the shorts would have bee uncomfortable on y6our lady parts

We need some pics in this thread!!0

I bought short shorts for running... shorts that are too loose get uncomfortable.0

I just came from the gym so I'll put a pic of my favorite shorts.
They're adidas techfit boyshorts.
Which kind do you use? I have big *kitten* thighs so its hard to find one that's loose enough in the opening yet doesn't ride up. These are okay but I'd wanna try some other kinds too.0 -
Pretty kitty, Hard Tail yoga shorts work well if you don't want them to ride up, their basic ones. Not a runner though, not sure if this helps.
to wear with layers I like these, just too hot out to wear now.

Thanks all...and mine are like these...they are I think Mizuno brand though0 -
For "exercise", maybe not running, just scissor off the waist band and legs on regular Hard Tail yoga pants and it doesn't bind at all. The regular ones have enough spandex they stay put.

I just went to the gym in Lululemon Shorty Shorts...but I look like a ladyboy in them. I hate working out with stuff on my legs...so I'll continue to look like a preteen tranny there.0

I wear short running shorts, but I wear the kind with the built in underwear so when they ride up, I'm still covered!0

We used to in the Marine Corps. No kidding, it is what we were issued. Ours have liners in them to keep everything concealed, but people were known to cut them out...

I wear short shorts at any given opportunity!! Especially at the gym...honestly my quads and hammys prevent me from looking normal in mid length shorts!
People who feel offense should stop staring so hard!!!!0 -
maybe you should go in a thong next time, see how he feels about that. Lol.
I wear short shorts. Don't care.0 -
