I would like to start by saying that these results took place over a 340 day period and that it was done without exercise (due to the numberous physical issue present). And with proper exercise, (recommended) it could have been better or accomplished sooner. Todays results after Fasting:
Cholesterol, Total 121 mg/dL
HDL Cholesterol 36 mg/dL
LDL Cholesterol 62 mg/dL
Triglycerides 117 mg/dL
LIPID PANEL RESULTS
CHOL/HDLC RATIO 3.4 (calc)
NON-HDL Cholesterol 85 mg/dL (calc)
I don't claim to know what all this means but I was told that this was a good report and to continue what I am doing. :-)
Other stats:
Starting weight 400 +
Today's weight 282.4 lbs.
Waist then 62"
Waist now 46"
Thank you to all my friends here a MFP for you support and encouragement.
I will post them again when I hit 220 lbs. lol

I compared it to mine taken last fall...due again this fall I guess...but back to what I was getting at. You're still at 1/2 risk with the 3.4 ratio result.. WTG still though!! my ratio was 2.64 well under normal/healthy. I'm in the healthcare field.0

thanks Metal_Viking, I always look for more info. When the Dr. went over the report with me today, he said it should be 5.0 or less. I will ask him to go over it with me at next weeks visit.0
