I can't believe that I lost 5 weeks - not good! But, I am glad that I am only up 1.4 lbs. I guess that is a good thing. I am going to have to work really hard to be at my goal weight by Christmas. I would have to lose 23.4 lbs... I think I may need to adjust my goal date, but I would still like to try.

if I average it out, it comes to 1/2 pound per week - was hoping for higher numbers now that it is week 16. Oh well, I can deal better with long plateaus now. I'm getting excited because the 170's are coming up and that's where I was when I got married 10 1/2 years ago. That's a long time!

Week 2 July 29 – 300.4 No loss but after camping last weekend I’m surprised I didn’t gain. Hopefully next week will show a loss.
Week 3 August 5 - 299.6 -.8 lost really been struggling. Still trying though.
Week 4 August 12 – 296 -3.6 woohoo!!!!!
Week 5 August 19 – 293.8 -2.2 Yeah! I didn’t blow it on my camping trip last weekend.
Week 6 August 26 – 292.3 -1.5 Woo hoo! Might make it to my goal next week! I sure hope so! Total of 10.7 lost since we started.

Did you take before pics when you started? 14 pounds makes a big difference. Take your measurements as well, those are always a good way to see how you are doing.
You might want to look at what you are eating and switch things up a little. Also, with exercising. If you are doing the same thing every week, you will need to change it up. Your body is use to what you are currently doing so it is not working very hard for you. If you start confusing it wth other exercises it will have to compensate for that and work harder. Switch up your workouts every couple of weeks to keep it guessing.
You can do this and we are all here for you. Keep pushing play and you will get to your goal before you know it. :bigsmile:0 -

What are you doing currently t loe the weight? Are you journalling your food and exercise? Remember why you are doing this. You ar doing this to feel better about yourself. Don't settle. Push through this and you will get there. Change up your exercising and take a good look at what you are eating. I know you want to do this because yu are here. So, I weighed myself this morning as usual, and as usual it was a solid 158 ( surprise surprise ) Then I went on my run, which was my longest ever! 10.5 miles! woo hoo!:drinker: Sorry, just had to brag for a sec... that's been a major goal for me to run 10 miles by the end of Oct!
Anyway, after the run I stepped on the scale again and it said 156! Ahhh! I think it was just from dehydration, but how I wish I could make that number stick! Oh well, I'll keep my 158 for now and just keep visualizing that 156!0 -

Wow ... it's going to be a crazy busy day here today at work ... and then I have a tour to give tonight. Yikes!!! At least it's Friday. I'm here to confess this morning ... I ate some liquorice and potato chips last night just before I went to bed. I don't know what I was thinking ... now I have heart burn. Serves me right ... LOL. Oh well ... today's a new day and I hope to do some big hiking this weekend to burn it all off.

WHOOOHOOO!!! Down just over 2 pounds. I am so excited. I am finally getting down there. 10 more pounds to go. I can certainly do it before Christmas. I just feel like I have been on a small plateau for the last few weeks so this weigh in is huge for me.
My challenge for this weekend is to not eat any candy. I know I can do it. I don't want to ruin this good weigh in I just had.

Hmmm ... this isn't going well at all ... it's only 3:45 PM and I still have to have my supper and my calories left for the day is at (negative 41). I'm pretty sure I'll be going over today. Oh well ... I'll eat something nutritious and act like I didn't go over during the day ... I'll just carry on. Hope you're all doing better then me. It all started with that Whole Grain Raspberry muffin from Tim Hortons for breakfast and it's been downhill since. :blushing: Can you believe they have 400 freaking calories???0

Don't beat yourself up too bad. Try to get in some extra exercise after work. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
I just got off the exercise bike after burning 900 calories. I hope I can keep my eating under control the rest of the day. Working out is never my problem, eating correctly is.
