OK. I just re-entered my settings. It tells me that if I want to loose 1 pound a week, I should be eating 2500 calories!!
Is this too much?

What is your lifestyle setting? For someone who is on their feet all day vs someone who is sitting at a computer all day have very different calorie values. But, if you are only trying to lose 10 lbs, that does seem like a high number since when I get down to my goal weight my maintaining amount of calories will barely meet 2000.

Check the weights you entered, etc, something could be off too.

umm it does seem high, are you sure you didnt put gain a pound? but it also depends on your height and weight
  • yeah, that seems really off! most of us are only allowed 1200 calories before exercise. i would check the settings again. i think 2000 calories would be acceptable if you're trying to gain a pound a week. there's no way you could lose a pound a week by eating that much, unless you run marathons on a daily basis. i'm a cross country runner and distance cyclist, and i rarely get up to 2000 net calories.
