I wasn't that big.... (pic heavy)

For some reason, even with photo evidence I still had in my head that I wasn't that big. I had all my official before shots (taken where I weigh in) I still had that I didn't look that bad. Well after a weekend away and getting some new pics done, I happened to look at the 'My Photos' section on Facebook. Not remembering that friends had been taking photos of me through all of last year when I was getting heavier and heavier. Shocked is an understatement. I hate a lot of these photos but I need to have a reminder of where I was and how far I've come. I'm never, ever going back there. I can't wait to look at photos that have just been taken of me and go 'wow I was that big?'
Warning a lot of these are sports related, simply for the fact I wouldn't take photos of myself. There are some nights out (taken by friends) but they at least tell a good story
First photo is taken November 2011 at my great-grandma's 90th.
This photo was taken in March 2010 at my grand final (won WOOOHOOO!) Incidently, for those who know softball, my form is TERRIBLE. It's no wonder I had a shoulder injury! A big part of the reason I was throwing this way was because of my weight.
These next lot of photos were taken in March 2011, again during and after grand final. (won again) There are some going out shots. I'm probably similar size then I was the year before. Form's not the best, but better. (and no shoulder injury that year!)
After the grand final
These were taken in April 2011.
Simply put, I look terrible. Not only do I look huge and ugly, but most importantly I look unhealthy! Not at all.
It was July 2011 I went back to Jenny Craig and started my weight loss. This photo was taken two weeks after I started.
See the unhealthy and not happy part?
This photo was taken three weeks ago when going out for an event.
These two were taken on the weekend
Much happier, much healthier and looking pretty damn hot if I do say so myself. (oh confidence too!)
Apologies for sizing issues.
Should be working now

Wow! Those are amazing! Thanks for sharing :-)
I know what you mean... I find it so hard to tell what my size is, it is as if I have a blind spot and really have to use indicators to show evidence! If I did not write what I weight I just dont register it.0 -
Well done!0

Thank you ladies!0

I had a similar kind of moment...I saw a picture a friend posted on her FB of me at her nephew's birthday party. I was so gross!
I was already on MFP and making changes when I saw the pic. Just for giggles and grins, I put on the same outfit about 3 weeks later and took more pictures, and I could see the difference!
OP...I can see the difference! Keep up the good work0 -
i was a fastpitch pitcher for 12 years. i wish i could play as an adult! we don't have any leagues where i live for people over 23. seriously.. your form is much improved after your weight loss. how strange and exciting!! good job!!!0

Don't know why they don't have older leagues in America. All these talented players who never play again at a competitive level. It's sad! Mine is purely social but it's just so much fun!
And yes it's odd, but the form's definitely improved. Still needing to work on that swinging glove.0 -
WOW!! You are amazing. A strong healthy beautiful person!0

what a difference, well done you0

I admire you for being the size you were and still out there on the field. I can't tell you how many times I passed upfun things because I was embarrassed. I could kick myself i the butt now but at 44 5 grandchildren I am now getting to really enjoy life. You may have more to go but already even in your befores you are inspirational. Big girls need to hear your motivation and self confidence to not stop or keep from trying things they may love because of our size. Thanks for being you and posting and keep it up girl, feeling that good is contagious and I want it too. God Bless you Always!!0

great job!!!!0

normalg I'm not one who has ever let my weight stop me. I've only ever been denied doing one thing as a result of my weight (too fat to skyjump) Now I want to get to a point where not only can I do it but I can do it WELL and enjoy it!0

I'm a pitcher too! I'm very heavy so it causes me to dip A LOT when I end my follow through, I've also got a shoulder injury from it!
Ignore my face... lol http://oi48.tinypic.com/15ml3tc.jpg
Congrats, you look amazing and are an inspiration!0 -
That's an awesome photo! But the lean is much more pronounced when we're bigger0

Nice job. Keep working on that form so you don't take any more shoulder injuries. Those will hurt over time ... :-)0
