I'm a metric baby, 165 cm and have 35 kg to go!

Hi,
I'm Rumi from a tiny town in Indonesia. I'm 5'4 and 207 lbs. I need to lose about 75-80 lbs before my 32nd birthday in august 2013.
I've been overweight all my life, and get my highest weight in January 2012 at 105 kg (231 lbs). I almost throw my scale at that day.
Then I start diet in mid feb, and so far I have lost 11 kg (20s lbs).
Now, I want to do it more seriously with the help from MFP.
From tomorrow am gonna track my calories intake and start walking at least 30 min a day. I also want to start lifting but havent found nice and comfortable gym around my place.
Anyone who have similar start/goals pls kindly add me as your MFP. I'd love to have this journey with you.

You know, it depends on your metabolism and body composition. For me it took 5 weeks to drop 13lbs or 5.7kg. Welcome abroad and I think it's great you've decided to do it now!0

How to boost my metabolism? am afraid I'll get discouraged if takes to much time to lose all of my excess weight.0 -
you did not gain the weight in one-day, so you cant losse it in a day, but with consistency regarding your diet and exercise you will get where you are going to. It took me longer to loose 5kg0

me too. I need 7 weeks to lose 5 kg.
of course, that's why am here, on mfp, to track healthy life style.0
