Calories of rice when raw and cooked

Hello. I am confused with the nutrition info on the back of my whole grain rice. It says 75g of rice makes 180g and is 219 calories. But 100g raw rice is 352 cals making 75g 264 cals. So do calories decrease in rice when cooked? Are lots of nutrients boiled away?

The rice absorbs lots of water while cooking and 'EXPANDS' making it weightier...0

I know it expands. That's why it becomes 180g. What I don't understand is that you are putting 75g in the pan at 264 calories and when it comes out it is 219 cals.0 -
