    Was having a very bad time in my life back in the 80's. Problems with women, work, extra-curricular activities. Anyways, a friend of mine, Paul, came and got me at lunchtime. We went out to El Torito at lunchtime, had a few margaritas and then decided not to go back to work. It was a beautiful Southern California afternoon. We headed down the highway in his convertible. "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves came on the radio.

    Every time I hear that song now, I am transported back to that afternoon.

    There's a lost prophets song with summer in the title that feels summery.
