Kopi Luwak are coffee beans from animal poop.

It comes from Civet (a cat sized mammal) poo. The animals gorge on only the finest ripe berries, and excrete the partially-digested beans, which are then harvested for sale. Kopi Luwak is the most expensive coffee in the world, selling for between $120 and $600 USD per pound, and is sold mainly in Japan and the United States, but it is increasingly becoming available elsewhere.

    Potted meat is just nasty. Read the ingredients: mechanically separated chicken, beef tripe, partially defatted cooked beef fatty tissue, beef hearts, water, partially defatted cooked pork fatty tissue, salt, and less than 2 percent: mustard, natural flavorings, dried garlic, dextrose, sodium erythorbate, and sodium nitrite.

    Not really. If I were doing that, I would likely respond to all the venomous posts of inconsequential worth instead of doing what I usually do, which is to look for posts with 10 responses or less who's poster seems to truly be looking for an answer, support, or someone to bounce ideas off.

    The reason for this thread was just to provide some interesting (or gross!) info. If it's offensive, please feel free to have it removed. No reason to stomp about on other folk's toes over silly info :wink: .
