I'm 20 years old and I'm a smidge over 300lbs. I am finally taking a stand to exercise more and to lose weight. If anyone would like to talk to me about it and support me, that would be great. Also, any suggested activities for the season would be amazing. <3

I'm more into the walking, enjoying life scene when I can but I also run 3.5 miles a day. The walking and biking I enjoy. I take it easy when I go, look around me, remember why I love Florida so much.

I've also heard the video games like DDR and other dance programs can be a lot of fun for cardio!
  • Hi I was just reading your post and it reminde me a lot of myself. Im 20 and last April I was shocked to find that I had reached 308lbs. I was determined to work hard from then on out. Im proud to say I've lost 70lbs to date, even with some medical issues, and am still going! So you can do it! feel free to add me as a friend!

good for you for starting this journey! With South Beach Diet and Jillian Michael's DVDs, I lost 70 pounds ~ crept back up a little and now i am doing a "hybrid SBD and Weight Watchers combo" and P90X ~ the inches are melting off and the pounds are slowly following. Best of luck - i highly recommend JM DVDs... they are great because you can modify the majority of exercises until you get stronger.
