I have lowered my calorie intake, I'm more active, especially in the warmer weather and I am making sure to update semi regularely, I workout occasionally and yet I still can't manage to lose weight. I merely maintain my current weight, which isnt healthy. What the hell more do I need to do? I'm seriously about ready to give up.

What are you eating? How much do you weigh now? How tall are you?

The first month I believed I retained water weight and I only lost like 4 pounds. This second month I have lost 6 already and it is not even over! Do not give up! Everybody is different!

By "update semi regularly"-- does that mean you're not consistently tracking your food? It would probably help you out tons to do that... you can't really 'give up' from a program that you aren't truly utilizing, you know?

  • It is totally within your power to lose weight. If it seems like the scale is not moving, you have three options: push yourself to eat less/exercise more, focus all your patience on continuing your current lifestyle and waiting your results out, or give up. Do you really want to fall in that last category? Whenever I am tempted to stop, I just think of the perfect, strong person I want to be (but I am not), and then I pretend I'm them. It's hard, but it has worked for me. Your goal is to lose 50, and by working at it, I have lost about 10 pounds shy of that. Trust me - just hold on a little longer and work a little harder and things will start changing faster than you think.

Eat clean. Really watch your carbs. Consider doing some reading on paleo / primal..,

First thing you have to be regular on mfp. Being semi regular means you might be taking more calories than ur goal. Give it 3 weeks atleast when you will 100 percent regular and if still dont move then further thinking is needed.
  • I find it hard to update often, because Im not always near internet or on the computer, Im not an overly active computer user. But I will try to post my food daily
