I think many of us dont get a good nights sleep anyway. A nap cant hurt. I have found that it tends to curb my hunger too!0

Proper rest is as much a part of the weight loss equation as diet and exercise. Stress releases cortisone and cortisone produces body fat so while you may burn some fewer calories, you may actually be helping yourself by providing your body with the rest that it needs.0

I am very strongly pro-nap.

I wish I had time to take naps! Normally I never do, but one day last week after a day I worked out hard, I came home from work and fell asleep for two hours. I think sometime our bodies need the extra sleep.0

You cant beat a nice snooze!! Sundays are my snooze day  Up at 530am do the horses, come home, sofa, cup of tea, cat, Mythbusters, zzzzzzzzz usually for a couple of hours :bigsmile:0 -
Studies show that thin people nap more often than overweight people. You should take wanting a nap as a sign of your progress.
Happy napping!0 -
There's always psychological reasons why any action may have an effect (good or bad) on your weight loss, but in and of itself, napping as opposed to watching a TV show isn't going to effect your weight loss.0
