Won't hurt. Won't help much either.
Unless you're training fasted, the urgency of PWO nutrition is not really an issue. Shakes are merely a matter of convenience.
If you like shakes, there are many better choices out there (higher protien, lower cost). Optimum Nutrition is my personal choice.0 -
mine as well eat a cheese burger... has roughly the same macornutrient content... so you could also ask "Is a cheese burger good after a workout or is it just a waste?"0

I tried the muscle milk light and thought it tasted like sh**. I would rather drink some chocolate milk.0

I looked at Muscle Milk, it said something like 30g of protein, I thought Wow that's a lot! But looking closer it says "Per TWO scoops!" That's misleading, other products have more protein.
No Muscle Milk for me

The ingredients list is a little scary....chocolate milk seems a better choice.0

ok thanks for the opinions! I drank a light one after working out yesterday and I was just wondering if it helped with muscle building/recovery or if it is just a hype thing0
