            Sounds tasty.
Unfortunately I've found that tequila does not agree with me.
Still I might try it just to see, cause I do like the taste of Margaritas0

To heck with the Crystal Light...I use the Jose Cuervo Light Margarita Mix. A whopping zero calories! I also splurg on 4 oz of home squeezed oranges. Makes my margarita calories a bit higher, but not by that much.0

For all you margarita fans, Jose Cuervo Light Margarita mix found in the liquor isle is zero calories and yummy with two squeezed oranges or limes.:drinker:0

How expensive is it? I know that the Walmart brand of Crystal Light and Diet 7-Up are both pretty cheap-- and almost zero calories.
Would love to try the Cuervo brand, though!0

Sipping this now- only change was to add twice as much liquor (teehee), and a salt/sweet rim on the glass. From someone who gave up real margaritas many moons ago, THANKS! :drinker: Will have to try with some oj at some point.0

These sound delish. You have some wonderful recipes.
Unfortunately I don't live in the U.S. and some of those ingredients aren't available in OZ.
Enjoyed reading about them tho, and to those who are trying them.... Cheers!!!!!0

I recently bought some packets in the crystal light section of walmart that are actually margarita flavored. I ahven't tried them yet, but I like the idea of having a little bit of the carbonation in the diet sprite or diet 7 up!
Thanks for the suggestion. That is very little calories for a margarita!0

At our house, even the margaritas have been put on a diet!
Our “Skinny Margaritas” have only 74 calories per 12oz drink!
We like margaritas— but we don’t like the fact that they can have as many as 500 calories each.
I came across this recipe for a “Skinny Margarita” and I knew it must have been good when my S.O. started asking me EXACTLY how I made them.
 So here goes:
Into a 12oz glass add 1oz of tequila (or to taste), one packet of Crystal Light Lemonade powder, 2 tablespoons of ReaLime (or similar), some ice cubes and 8oz of Diet 7UP (or Diet Sprite).
Mix thoroughly, garnish with a slice of lime-- and drink!
You can optionally add a splash of Triple Sec and/or Grand Marnier.
Most tequilas have around 69 calories/oz, the Crystal Light has 5 calories— and everything else has 0 calories.
So our 12oz margaritas have only 74 calories in them.
Does it taste *exactly* like a 500 calorie margarita?
No. But it DOES taste like about a 450 calorie margarita!
THAT, my friends, is good living.

this looks yummy! I am trying to avoid artificial sweetners, maybe I could replace with lemon juice instead of crystal light, club soda instead of diet and add a packet of stevia!!0

So I made this with Patron this weekend (but did 1.5 oz shot instead of the 1oz portion) and these were SPOT ON. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing!0

I just wanted to add that I recently changed the Diet Sprite to Lime Flavored Sparkling Water, diet soda has a ton of sodium, the sparkling water has none, no calories and no artificial sweetener either!!!!0
